brought 1.6 2001 ford focus zetec automatic for 800 pound got home have to spend another 573 pound on it can get rid 270 pound and start again with another one and be more vigilant . so do I spend on car I have gear box heater motor 2 tryes to get or sell and count my loses which are about the same as repairs got 11 months mot still need fob knew about 1 tyre and heater when brought do I afford ford focus now did like car

My personal opinion would be sell, and try and find something with enough MOT. I would also say give it a thorough going over before you buy.

You have wasted a couple of hundred quid on this car from its sell on value, but to be honest, add up the other costs, your easily looking at over £500 with all the bits you seem to need to buy...
