Hi
I have recently bought a 04 Focus 1.8 tdci
There was only one key supplied with the car, the owners manual says you need two keys to code a new key to the system.
Anyone know how I would get another key coded?
any advice would be helpfull.

Hi,
I'm having exactly the same problem. Apparently you have to have the first two keys programmed by a Ford dealer, and I've spoken to a few, with quotes between £90 - £120 per key.
I'm not sure if there's an easy work-around, but hopefully someone else might know!?

I have been told on another forum, Ford is the only answer no shortcuts, once you have two keys coded by ford, you can program more keys yourself.
