Columbo
Hi all, Is there a way to switch off the rear parking sensors? - they are way too sensitive, and frankly, doing my head in. I've had a look on the menu and can't see anything on there to deactivate them. Is it a case of removing a fuse or relay? Thanks in advance. Mike77
Now, if you were lucky enough to have the FRONT and REAR sensors fitted as standard, then Ford will put you a nice little button on the dashboard for turning them off lol. I use this button more than my window switch haha.

D13 HPD 95
if you loacte the buzzer, put some electrical tape over it, quitens the noise down, you can still hear it and still know the jist of where your rear end is in relaction to the parking space, but there aint any need from them to be that loud!! i taped my mums up ever since i used her car and she thanked me for it :) give it a go
Stoney871
I had to put my beeper in the A pillar so it didn't startle the dogs. Two days later I taped a penny over it and reduced the noise down a fair bit.
Varming
Well I only got the rear sensors but I have to get really close to things before they start beeping. When I got the car I was sure they weren't working but after some testing I have to say they are but I really would like them to go off a bit earlier. Would have been nice if it was possible to adjust that.
