How much should I expect to pay to have a cam belt changed?

is it a mk3 mondeo diesel??If so its chain driven but the belt runs power steering, alternator, aircon etc its always gd to change tensioner on belt and maybe water pump aswell. depends on mileage

Cheers mate, I've not actually bought it yet. Going for a final look/test drive over the weekend.

The one I'm looking at is a 2007 TDCi LX with 80k on the clock so was wondering how much to factor in.

normally belt changes are around £200-£300 depending on the place you go.

But worth getting done sooner rather than later then.
