Gran
Hi Folks. I have just bought a 2008 Ford Focus Style & it has the not uncommon fuel gauge issue, I ran out of diesel on the way home Friday morning following a night shift so I don't want a repeat performance anytime soon. The car is going back to be sorted & was trying to figure out which bit needs replacing, is it the actual float/float arm or the sensor (presuming they are seperate)? I have done the reset/ignition test & the dash gauges all looked OK. Any guidance would be appreciated. Cheers Keith

Gran
I have taken it back tonight & we have read the codes, my brother who I bought it off thinks it might not be running out of fuel after all, I am still going with faulty sender. I am now going to check the codes to see if any are fuel related. Cheers
