Will a straight smooth wiper arm and blade from a MK1 fit a MK2? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item53f0d433b2

I need to replace the blade AND the arm as the small plastic bit at the end of the arm that holds the blade on has snapped and I quite like the look of the straight arm as opposed the bent one as designed for the MK 2.

I'm not sure if the spindles are the same sizes.
You could find after tightening the bolt that the arm doesn't grip properly.

Cheers Clive, didn't think of that. Just assumed Ford would have used the same motor. But then again 'Assumption is the mother of all *****ups!'  :)

Its little things like this so Ford can say they've made a number of changes in the new model.
