Mark1eboy
Hi all does anyone know how expensive it is to repair the head as I've done an initial test and it has suggested my gasket is leaking a little.
andy86
If it's in the early stages I'd get some steelseal really good stuff worked in every car I've had even when it was missing on 2 cyclinder it's about 34 quid but I think it's cheaper on eBay just make sure you get the steelseal it's a green liquid not the other cheaper stuff it never works all you do is put it in the water and run it
Mark1eboy
I've tested it as I'm loosing a little water and I put a tester with a chemical in the expansion tank and the chemical want from blue to green. I was told it's the gasses that react with the chemical. I'm hoping it's a slight leak but can't really tell other than adding a little water every 3 days or do back in the expansion tank. We'll know who to steer clear of then.
