Fitting Hid Kit To A Mk2.5

Hiya folks.

The other day I saw a Zetec S similar to mine that had an aftermarket HID Kit fitted and I must admit It looks fantastic.

Potential MOT issues aside, is there a decent way of doing this? A quality kit that doesn't throw the beams everywhere etc?

Has anyone done this on a Mk2.5 on here?

Cheers :)

With halogen reflective tech therevis mo way of stopping the beam from scattering. You can get either genuine xenon headlamps or projector type headlights then retrofit them with hid.

Projector lens will stop it from scattering

Halogen projector headlights dont stop the light from scattering because the light output is completely different on a HID bulb than a halogen bulb, only proper HID lenses will produce the proper beam pattern/prevent you having issues come MOT time/stop you from dazzling other drivers

Just to update an old thread, I fitted some 6000K HID's and got them aligned and they work great! Considering doing the full beams and fogs now......
