david w
I have a focus 2010. The front indicator does not work as well as right side brake light. Haven't checked fuses as I don't know which to check due to misplaced but here somewhere manual. While changing all my front bulbs to Osrams cool blues I changed the indicator bulb but it didn't work. So I swopped the two bulb holders over but no change. Does this mean a bad earth? Fuses? relay? Any idea which relay it would be and would it be in the engine fuse box or dangling somewhere under the steering wheel.? Not changed the bulb in the rear brake light yet as I think it's something to do with the electrics and bulb may be fine anyway. Anyone who could help I'd appreciate it as I'd like to try and avoid the garage.
JW1982
Most lights of the Focus MK2/MK2.5 are controlled by the GEM module/fuse box (located under the glovebox). Almost all of the (micro)relays are mounted directly to the circuit board of the GEM module/fuse box and can not be changed without soldering. First you should check for defective fuses and lightbulbs. If all fuses and lightbulbs are good you can start to check all connectors of the GEM module/fuse box. These connectors may come loose if the passenger hits the connectors with his/her feet. If all fuses and lightbulbs are good and all of the connectors are correctly inserted into the GEM module/fuse box it is most likely the problem is caused by a defective GEM module/fuse box.

david w
Ok is the fuse for my rear right indicator number 125 parking lamps, side lamps, tail lamps (right side) ????? Fuse looked fine, swapped it for number 124 opposite side and still no change. Can see a trip to a garage coming. :-(
