Txt Reader

So when you get a text how do you reply with a voice to text message, what's the voice command? :)

Well, when a text comes in it gives you the option of whether to read it out or not, and I said I wanted it read out, then it gives you options to reply, ignore and finish or something. I can't remember exactly if i'm being honest. If you can't get yours to work later on, i'll have to sit in my car and get someone to text me, and i'll take notice this time and let you know.

I'm not sure the whole text from the car thing will be a 100% success tho, and maybe just ok if in a hurry, coz when I said exclamation mark, I kinda hoped it would put in a ! and not the words, so don't know what would happen if it was a longer text that needed full stops etc !!!! On this app on my phone, I can also set it to send an automatic text if i'm driving. it says "Driving at the moment - i'll get back to you later. (Automatically sent from driving Mode on my Windows Phone.)" I just found that actually !

I have an iPhone 5 with the latest 7.1 update and I've just been reading through the posts for getting SYNC to read out text messages when they arrive on your phone.

I've just been through the MENU options for SYNC/Text Messaging and I don't see any options to have SYNC read out messages.

Where exactly in the menu is this option?

When your iPhone's connected, lock the screen and leave it. When you receive a text, Sync will read it back to you.

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

You have to turn the option on in the iphone settings not the car
