2005 Focus Tdci Issues

Just recently got this car and am enjoying it for the most part, there are some issues however,

one the temp guage works fine but takes a long time to go up. when i sit stationary for some time it goes up to normal operating temp and the fan etc kicks in, but as soon as i start moving the temp drops down to about 75 ?

When sitting stationary again the car is fine, when i rev it its also fine, no smoke but when driving (hot or cold) when the car takes off with good boost there is a cloud of smoke from the exhaust but not if you go up speed slowly . split pipe ? or turbo seal ?

the sat nav wont pick up GPS, Aerial or just the base ?

the heated windscreen only works on one small part, not half but a 3cm line down the right hand side ? fuse or screen ?

some injectors are leaking diesel through the leak back from the injector to high pressure pipe, but i have the replacement bits for there, will this contribute to smoke ?

cheers all !

I had the smoke thing on my car,1.8 tdci, I like you could see it in the mirror with lights behind me and accelerating in second gear.

I fitted an EGR blanking plate, and it's cured! There is a speperate post on hear about fitting EGR blanking plates.

Hope this helps.
