My friend has been given two subs for the car and is nice enough to be passing one in my direction this evening sometime.

we both would like to wire them up at the same time but im not sure if this is easy to carry out or not.

Any one have any ideas?

Also i was thinking to take off the focus and titanium badges on my car but would like to know if people have done it before or if it is thought to be a good idea?

Nice so far. That sub looks beastly.lol

Check out Brigante's build thread. He has done some great mods to his MK2.

Gel overlays for your Ford Badges can be found here. Get them before they stop selling them in June:

Gaitors eBay is the best place to find those and pretty much anything else you are looking for.

Not sure either, when I bought my car 2nd hand, it had all the wiring in place for a sub should I want to add my own. Have a search on the forums, might be some posts about others putting subs in their cars. Any car audio specialist should be able to advise you as well.

I am a big fan of debadging every car I have owned I've debadged, but when I did it with the focus it didn't look quite right. I think the focus needs some kind of badge myself. I just went with an S badge.
