RnB Rookie Posted March 30, 2014 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Hi all,I need some help wiring my Kenwood KDC BT73DAB.I have managed to get it working, but its permantly live, so I have to remember to switch off head unit, each time I leave the car.(see pics)....Connector 2 has 4 wires:Black: earthRed/Green: constant 12v+White: ????Blue: ???What are the Blue and White for?what are the Grey, Black and Green wires for on Connector 1 for? Kazunai Posted January 6 Share Posted January 6 I had the same issue when i was wiring my sony dsx-a410bt. I could not find a stable 12v switched power on the car iso harness. I ran a cable from the fuzebox underneath the steering column using one of these fusebox adapters. (use a multimeter to find a switched 12v one) You want to run this to the 12v switched power on your headunit. (i just pulled out the pin and connected the wire to this) In my case it had to go to the red cable on the headunit adapter. (it could also be blue). The small iso wiring plug i also have disconnected, i think its for the aux plug. My ka doesn't have steering wheel controls tho. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
