talksy
I had to pull over onto the cub yesterday because of a nonse driving an Amey works van down the middle of the road. He took off and despite chasing him and his trailer, I lost him. My alloy has been quite badly scuffed. I got his reg (off my dash cam) but don't think it is worth chasing him as it would probably not be worth the hassle. Does anyone have any ideas on how much it would cost to get this sorted and where I could go (18" alloy, nsf is the one damaged)? I am on the Hertfordshire and Essex border, I also work in Enfield from time to time.
nazsky786
You could just leave it, go thought insurance etc or pay £45 for the alloy to be sorted. You can get it done cheaper but I wouldn't trust them. You normally get a better deal when you want all 4 alloys refurbed . talksy
Thanks for your post. Yeh agree, would rather not go through insurance, it costs enough as it is. You mentioned about paying around £45. Have you used anyone before? Have never had to get one refurbished so don't have any contacts or potential people to try. Willy
You'll find your wheels are 17s ;) Realistically your looking at £55 / £60 including VAT for a refurb. I'd get a touch up pen (silver sparkle) as that's very little damage, on your 17s ;)
