JackSimpson
I brought one of the S badges for my 14 plate Zetec S and I only had it on a week before during a 600mile trip it came off somewhere on the drive! So can anyone give me any tips to help secure it more without cutting up the grill?
WelshFordFan
dab of sikaflex and it's going nowhere
CookieM
How did you have it stuck on? I lined up the top and bottom edges of the s with the edge of one honeycombe section so the adhesive had max surface coverage. Mines been on for 2000 miles now and survived a good few times cleaning the car. Don't think there's much else you can do other than cutting. Maybe a clip of some sort? JackSimpson
Okay I will look about doing that WelshFordFan, and CookieM that's how I had it on maybe it was the the heat from the engine warming up the glue? Or it was quite hard rain I was driving in so might be that?
CookieM
I suppose it could have been anything. Or maybe your just unlucky? But yeah try some stronger adhesive as WelshFordFan suggested.
