Although I have seen a few cars not ST's with LED DRL'S failed on one side which isn't good considering they where all on a 14 plate. I think I have seen 4 up to now on my travels. Gary.J Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 Apparently when they were introduced there was a batch that had problems. Ford rectified them without problem apparently. Stevek1909 Posted July 24, 2014 Share Posted July 24, 2014 Hi all gutted mine failed today only half illuminated but if you touch the side that's out it comes back on.the dealer is over 100 miles from me so can I take it to my local ford dealer it will be replaced under warranty I take it ! First the light above the glovebox went, shortly after he managed to fix it with a battery disconnect, both the scuffplates went.. his is a 13 plate.. You'll have to read the T&C of the warranty you bought. To be honest, it's unlikely as used car warranties usually just cover big stuff, like engine and drivetrain components.
