Hi, I would like some advice as to possibly buying a 1993 K reg escort xr3i cabriolet.

Spec as follows;

1.8 petrol

Black

105,000 miles

reasonable condition

hood not leaking

11 months MOT

no TAX

will require a few things, one thing being both inner CV boots.

Any ideas of value, as to my description?

I would just like to know are these worth it?

Getting rarer, investment?

Any advise/opinions very welcome.

Thanks

What spec is it?

105ps

115ps

or 130ps?

Worth getting if it's the 130PS version

Hi , great motor in summer but not so much winter and price depends on the condition?, The roofs the main worry go over it with a fine tooth combe and open / close a few times b4 making a decision.

Hi Leo,

Sorry but I'd personally leave this well alone! , it's not been looked after at all !!, You'd think they'd have at least cleaned it?? , There's plenty out there for relatively cheap but in good condition.

A bit tatty is an understatement. Who ever owned it really didn't care for it and probably just ragged the !Removed! off it. I would avoid as there'll be much better examples around.
