Pete80
I prefer my current ones too, think they will be used for winter work, I want to get mine refurbished so won't want them dirty lol Sent from my SM-N9005 using Ford OC mobile app
The Admiral
I''ve got one alloy slightly duller than the rest ( front passenger side) my wife says its ok? I blame the idiots who use to wash it , I now go to a brilliant car wash 5 miles away worth the drive ,I wouldn't mind seeing how much it would cost to be refurbished. Pete80
Well the jag alloys left my life as quick as they entered after finding out that they are prone to cracking I decided to pass them back from where I got them from, luckily my uncle didn't mind and has decided to keep them as spares for his jag sport Sent from my SM-N9005 using Ford OC mobile app
jeebowhite
Refurb of a wheel could be as little as £45 a wheel, depends if you just want it polished or repair work.
The Admiral
The alloys are spot on no damage ( tempting fate =-O ), Its just abit duller not a lot but enough for me to notice the old car wash use to drown alloys in alloy cleaner and weren't gentle with them hence why I go to another now who are fantastic. Pete80
Have you tried a light polish then a sealant on top, Ive used Autoglym SRP with some good results on slightly tarnished alloys then sealed with Wolfs Hard Body, gives a nice shine

Pete80
Well one week goes so quick when your enjoying yourselves, well and truly home now with this nasty wet weather, anyway while I was away the car was treated to a bluefin remap and a full service, will report back when I've had a few miles to work out how the remap has worked Sent from my SM-N9005 using Ford OC mobile app

The Admiral
Once Bluefin is fitted is that it? Or do u have serviced / updated? What's the benefit? Sent from my HTC One X using Ford OC mobile app
Pete80
It's just a remap mate, so basically I've changed the map on the ecu for one that's a bit more optimal for the car gives an increase in bap and mpg, if I can keep my foot off the accelerator Sent from my SM-N9005 using Ford OC mobile app
Pete80
Ooops my mistake its the superchips remap Ive had done, not the bluefin, its increased the car up by 19bhp and 42nm of torque and after doing about 100 miles last nights its definitely made a difference, the car feels slick through the gears and has a nice linear pull to it now, very very happy bunny so far Here is a link to the page if anyone is considering having it done http://www.superchips.co.uk/search?make=9&fueltype=2&model=61&variant=1917

( hi James ;-) ) , Am going to look into to supachips ,do I tell my insurance?? Sent from my HTC One X using Ford OC mobile app
Pete80
Regarding your insurance yes it is best too, I did and was not charged for it, but like most things it's your choice Sent from my SM-N9005 using Ford OC mobile app
jeebowhite
Hi Vincent, unless it wasnt me you wanted to say hi to :p you should tell your insurer, as they can and will invalidate your insurance policy.
