Randallsfocus
Hi I'm looking into getting a mk 4 xr3i convertible. Could anyone tell me difference between a xr3i convertible and a "normal" escort convertible? Many thanks Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app
L666JER
XR3i was the performance version, with a 1.6 cvh engine, the i means fuel injection either efi or mfi. It's lowered, costs more to buy, and insure :P
vinnyvangough
Most were badged as 1.6i rather than XR3i due to insurance purposes.
L666JER
Still basically the same. I know xroc allow 1.6i cabs in because of this.
