Blues
Hi All, It is with great disbelief I am starting this discussion, I think I need some thoughts on how to fill diesel in my Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI? The issue I am facing is that while filling the nozzle keeps cutting and it take ages to fill even 15 litres. This is the first time I am using caples technology. Please if anyone have faced the same issue?? or have same car can let me know where am I going wrong???
Luke23 tdci
When using cap less technology its all about pushing it right in so the nozzle opens the flap inside the neck of the filler pipe. Then leave it there don't bring it up the pipe. At the end when full first click wait 10sec then full in until 2nd click then its full. I've never had problem putting diesel in. Always full tanks too
Stoney871
Push the nozzle in and then let it rest naturally, don't hold the nozzle at a forced angle. Sent from my SM-G900F

pleasegod
. Never done anything different, but it's ok now. Cheers.
Stoney871
Some pumps seem to have more sensitive backflow sensors than others. I don't have easyfuel on my car but find Sainsburys 'pay at pump' pumps are very difficult to fill with.
