r3ign
Hi all, My beloved S1600 is coming to the end of its 3 year warranty period and has only had 1 service since it was registered. It's now due a second service at 19,200 miles. What i'm asking is, do i have the service done at ford or could i go elsewhere?
iNath
If it's 3 years old technically it's due its 37.5k major service. You can use any VAT registered garage as long as they follow Ford's schedule and use OEM parts.

Phil 87
So would this mean they will forget the 2nd service altogether or just add them both together ? The major service will include everything that would have been done in the 2nd service. Also you should be having a service every year (or 12,500 miles, whichever comes first), some recommend even more frequent than that. Phil 87
It's just a recommendation, but I don't know if it's a requirement for the warranty.
Nighthawk
Usually compulsory otherwise it voids warranty because if anything goes wrong they'll blame you for not servicing it at correct intervals.
