Can anybody help??

I have a 2005 StreetKA Ice that has a 6 disk CD changer.

Id like to remove this and install a normal CD player with DAB radio and AUX Connection

Is this a straight forward job once I have the stereo I want??

Take it to Halfords as they've got the spacing facias to fit the gaps :)

You will need an ISO converter to change the wiring from Ford to ISO. Here's one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PC2-08-4-FORD-KA-1996-ONWARDS-ISO-STEREO-HEAD-UNIT-HARNESS-ADAPTOR-WIRING-LEAD-/180915227783?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Terminals_Cabling_ET&hash=item2a1f634c87

Also as Dan says you will need a fascia, although if you want to save some money don't go to Halfords. There are two types, single and double DINN, depends which stereo you buy.

The cage should come with the stereo you buy - that secures it to the fascia.

Once you got those bits its just a case of slotting everything together :)
