Be pretty handy if it does!!Global Windows OpeningTo enable Global Windows Opening with a click of a button on your remote keyfob, follow this simple steps on EACH window:Press the "Down" arrow and hold down the button for 3 seconds Press the "Up" arrow and hold down the button for 3 seconds This resets the windows, Dont have my car at the moment, can someone who doesn't have this working give it a go at all? I would have thought that like many features on all cars, they are manufactured with them already built in and they just have to be enabled in the system with the correct equipment. iNath would know. MattDRX Posted May 23, 2014 Share Posted May 23, 2014 Nope it doesn't work, but picked mine up from the stealer this morning, new Turbo fitted and a free oil change ( Get In ) and asked them, they are all supposed to have this feature, they are going to ask ford for me, this dealer is quite good and said he'll get back to me next week, he should be honest, I bought 2 cars off him, the wife wants another and a mate of mine might be joining the ST club tomorrow as they have a lovely Orange fully loaded ST2 in ( which does have working global opening ) 13 plate too. I am sure you already know but just to make sure the way tooperate this should you have it as a feature is to hold down the unlock buttonuntil the windows start to move down. Or lock until the move up, do this whenunlocking, locking the vehicle. If this doesn’t work / isn’t working. Then theonly other thing I could suggest would be to hold the lock and unlock buttonfor five seconds or so. This changes the key configuration for unlocking thedriver’s door separately to the passenger door. One press for drivers door. Twopress for passenger door and boot. If not then we would need to book it in toinvestigate. We can provide a courtesy car or collect and deliver the vehicleat the time if needed to cause as little inconvenience as possible. aleksios Posted May 28, 2014 Share Posted May 28, 2014 they are crap. you can still have that feuture if you install an aftermarket canbus alarm system which can unlock/lock windows by arm/disarm the alarm.its just an ecu configuration that they dont know how to do it? or they dont want to do it.. funkylad Posted June 12, 2014 Share Posted June 12, 2014 Hi guys, picked up my ST-3 today and tried the global closing. It works but only did my passenger window up. Now when i get in the car and goto open and close the windows, one shot isnt working, have to keep my finger on the button .. Any advice ??
