Hello all i have just recently bought a new radio and i have fitted into to my dashboard. My problem is that my cars cd6000 and my new device when listening to the radio is permanently crackling when tuned into radio stations, is this a problem with the aerial or wiring ?

Check the aerial base for corrosion.
You can access it by removing the front courtesy light.
