Good day, I bought a new ford kuga 1.6 ecoboost 2014 earlier this year 2014 and it now has 6500km on the clock.

I would love to know from other owners what is the average fuel consumption you are getting from the car? I'm worried that my car might be faulty, however the only basis for this is comparing the actual fuel consumption I get to the one stated on the website and pamphlets at the dealers. Your input would be greatly appreciated. I only manage to get 10l/100km and based on the pamphlets the car should be getting to 6.7l/100km. There is a huge difference in fuel consumptions.

Thank you.

I've just bought a 63 plate 2litre derv, 6 speed manual and around town I'm getting about 40mpg

Also, looking at the Ford website I found the 1.6 petrol to be worse on fuel than the derv one...

If I'm driving moderately, 28 MPG for the 2.0 (Remember these are US gallons). Normal driving is 25 MPG, and if I really have fun it gets down to about 22 MPG.

I managed to hit 47 MPG once by setting the cruise at 45 MPH for 45 miles. This was going through Chicago in the middle of the night when there was no traffic and the speed limit actually was 45 MPH for 45 miles.

I have the 2.0 Ecoboost

28 US MPG = 33 MPG

25 US MPG = 30 MPG

47 US MPG = 56 MPG

Having just arrived with my Kuga Titanium AWD  I am surprised at how few Kuga owners there are on here - where are all the owners?

I had a Mk1 for quite a few years, but before Christmas I had to 'retire' the old girl, and settled on the Focus ... next car I'm saving for (in a few years) will be a Deep Impact Blue Titanium X Sport Kuga ...

My Titanium is going, to be replaced with the Titanium Sport, in magnetic, with 19"s plus extras, collecting around the middle of April.
