Is it possible to reset the ECU by pulling a fuse instead of disconnecting the battery? I know this is possible on the mk2.5 Focus (KAM fuse)

I'm trying out some different fuel hence the ECU reset

The ecu isn't the only controller of the engine although it is the main but what about all the other sensors? They would not have been reset? Control models for sensors etc?

I agree, I dont believe you would get the same effect. All the other modules (BCM, CCM, ABS, ESP, SRS etc) will still have information and it wont give you a "clean start".

Its easier anyway :D

Who wants to go digging for one fuse in a big pile, when you can just pull a big off cable :p
