Jonny87
I used a stoplock on my 98 Fiesta and will probably continue to use it on my new mk7, unless it fouls the leather on the steering wheel. Get the airbag/4X4 version to be sure it fits... Also I have seen some people using these things that clamp the hand brake to the gearstick, not too keen on those though. Thing is it seems that the people on here who have had their mk7's stolen, have had them trailered away, so your best bet would be a wheel clamp, but my god would it be a pain in the !Removed! using one of those all of the time! One super expensive option is fitting a Tracker http://www.tracker.co.uk/SVR.html I think its worth it, but not 100% sold on them yet.... Cant really think of anything else
Jonny87
Just had a thought, if you parked up right next to a wall then put your steering full lock to one side and then put a stoplock on, it would not be possible to to load the car onto a trailer, as the car would steer away from it.... or steer towards the wall. Matt M
I have a factory fitted alarm on my fiesta, and it's never gone off by mistake. The ford factory fitted ones tend to be good decent alarms. Mine also comes with a thatcham 2 immobiliser so all generally good :)
