EssexFordMan
Everyone who has been in my car are surprised at how quickly it picks up speed. Then I give it some beans and they refuse to accept it is a 1 litre engine. Magnificent. Mine is on a 3 year lease 15000 miles PA with a number of options = £200 per month. winemart2
Yep, my 125 Tit is also amazing. Not sure if the traction control should minimise wheel spin but it sometimes doesn't. 1st 2nd & 3rd from ~1600 rpm up is terrific. Problem is that I'm at 50 (in a 30) before I know it, so then I have to make brake dust due to the sticklers. Only hit 80mph so far and nothing over 4k rpm. I find, however, that I have to be "on the ball" with the steering and make frequent, very fine adjustments.

MONDEO TXS 2.2
Must have a '' special '' licence that allows the holder disregard road traffic law & endanger other law abiding road users.

EssexFordMan
Now then, back to the crummy usb in my new eco boost black edition...... Got new 32 gig Sam disk which I formatted to fat setting, put tracks on it off laptop and car still says connection error and refuses to acknowledge it is even there. GRRRRR!! Spoke to Ford who are at a loss to explain it. Any other ideas would be great to avoid top diagnostic guy in Germany looking at it!!

Ffoxy
I bought a cheap USB device from Aldi, 32Gbt and it performs flawlessly. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app
JRM
Well. Picked up the red this morning. 10 mins of paperwork. Quick test drive to make sure everything worked. Handed over the cash and off i went. Feels really well built. Love the super chunky steering wheel. Have only driven it a few miles home and won't have much opportunity to go further today so will post more when i have taken it to work and back a few times. Should have it run in in a couple of weeks with my commute. So far very happy.

tommeke_B
Pitty you have to subscribe (and pay) to see it. Doesn't make much sense for me to subscribe (as I'm from another country), would it be possible for someone to share it here?

EssexFordMan
What is his opinion on our car? Top Gear is ok if you are a 10 year old lad or you are someone who has lost all sense of the real world. Although, for the most part, it is stupid, irrelevant, poorly scripted, ladishly offensive, nonsense, it's an hour of TV I insist on watching to wind the Mrs up. "Just a blokes soap opera" I tell her!!
deno3
If you change the exhaust and bluefin chip a 125ps zs you can get it up to the 150 ps mark for about the same price difference, and you get the twin exhaust out the back, not done this to mine yet but have priced it up
bezzer
Still not the same though is it. Do you know what the 125 drives like on a bluefin chip? You also won't have the sportier suspension you get with the Sepcail Editions to complement the extra power. Your warranty is gone too. mrsjmsimpson
Clarkson actually liked it. Not surprised though. It's a fantastic car. Anyone else out there concerned that when it comes to swapping that there'll be nothing else like it to choose from unless Ford replace the Zetec S with the red / black. bezzer
He !Removed! loves it!! I think ford will continue to offer a 140 option or similar in whatever form they choose. They'd be stupid not to after the success of these.
