HI im new to the forum and im having some trouble with my car it is a ford fiesta 2003 1.4 zetec with durashift

the car struggles to start as even thou its in neutral the car displays 3 or 4 on the lcd dash display ,but if you switch it on or off a number of times it will select n on the lcd then start the car

i have only just bought the car and fod ran diagnostic and said the car was ok which it was when i picked it up but got to the petrol station and it played up again and has continued to do so .im an engineer and i am puzzled by the strange behavoir of the car .once the car is going it drives very well

any help will be great
