Think the next thing is gonna be, some new tyres. Really don't like the Maxxis Pro-R1's that are fitted. Been looking at Goodyear Efficient grip performance, rated B fuel efficiency and A wet grip, and only 69db.

Then in the new year, I'll be getting it remapped.

Probs be some other small bits done too. :D

Those tyres sound good mate,

You may also consider Avon ZV5's there also A Rated for Grip,

Remap will definitely put a smile on your face aswell.

I moved from ZZ3's to EGP's and am very satisfied with the grip and wear life.

Definitely personally recommended.

Bit of a change of plan. Tyres are on hold for a few months as I've still got 3.5-4mm left on them, so might as well wait till there down to 2mm.

And remap might not happen, as I just got a ear bashing off the wife lol

As she says, I've got the mk3 Escort to play with, and do engine mods etc on.

She doesn't mind me modding the Focus but not the best part of £300 on mapping and extra insurance premium.

I can basically do want I want with the mk3 Escort. :D

Have you fitted it yet? It'd be interesting to see how much difference the smaller antenna makes to the signal strength

I need to replace mine soon as it's falling to bits, can't decide wether to go for one same as this or just a regular long one

Looks like the bonnet lip will have to be repainted, it's started to blister in the frost. Must of had some moisture in there. Fog surrounds are fine (were done on a warmer day). Might carbon wrap it, not decided yet. Or just put the chrome one back on. And respray that one in the summer.

I used loctite my ariel whips on, so they didn't get nicked. Till someone snapped the Base trying to nick it.

Apologies if you posted the link already, but where did you get it from and how much please? Thanks. Considering changing my ariel as the radio reception isn't great at the moment. My wife's stock stereo gets better reception in the same area and she keeps reminding me of that

Cheers man. How is the reception with it? Looks so much slicker than the stock one and something I can definitely afford at the mo :)

Better reception than stock ariel, 2 mins to install. Don't need any of the adapters, just had to use a small rubber o ring so the Ford badge was in the right place. :)
