I've liked the Ford Edge for the last few years since it was facelifted, and am really pleased to see the ALL-NEW Edge will be a 'global Ford', and not just an American-market-only model like previously.

My friend rented the current Edge last time he was in the states and loved it. And this new world-Edge should be even better.

(For the FordUK SUV line up it'll now go Ecosport as the smallest, Kuga as mid-sized, and Edge as large/full-sized).

Heres some recent reveal videos of the all-new model:

(American article):

Presented as a concept last November in Los Angeles, the production-spec 2015 Ford Edge has been revealed. As expected, the all-new edition of Ford's popular 5-passenger crossover shares much in common with the show car. Visually bolder, offering more interior space, greater technological refinement and promising even better performance and handling than the current model.

Employing cues from Ford's latest styling language, the new Edge features a bolder but sleeker exterior appearance set off with LED lighting and aero-enhancing elements that include flow-optimizing Air Curtains and Active Grille Shutters on select models. The new design philosophy carries over into the Edge's cabin, which shares that same flair, with a more premium look and feel whether fitted with cloth or leather. Redesigned seats provide even greater comfort and support while extensive sound-abatement also make this the quietest Edge ever. All versions have acoustic windshield glass and the Edge Sport comes with Active Noise Cancellation while the Titanium features acoustic glass in the front doors. A 1.0-inch stretch in wheelbase and a taller roof helps increase legroom and headroom for all passengers in the new Edge, while cargo space rises by 7.0 cu ft with the 60/40 rear bench up and by 4.5 cu ft when down.

The 2015 Edge introduces a new 180-degree front camera with washer to complement its rear-view camera as well as Ford's new active glove box knee airbag, an enhanced active park assist with parallel/perpendicular back-in capability plus an obstacle-sensing side-parking warning system. Other available features include heated/cooled front seats and the automaker's inflatable rear-seat shoulder belt. Standard on Sport and Limited trims, SYNC with MyFord Touch also will see expanded availability in the SEL.

The 2015 Ford Edge arrives in showrooms here early next year and will ultimately be sold in over 100 markets around the world. Additional product details as well as pricing and EPA numbers will be released closer to the on-sale date.

I rather quite like it in yellow, probably wouldn't buy one myself in that color though, but hoping to see some on the road in that color, not the boring re-sale silver.

I'm not sold on the US looking styling  that american looking upper front grille yuck!! ohh and the headlights so american looking, need a european touch on the front, a more smooth looking front, too much chrome going on the front, grille and fog like surroundings.

I very much like the rest. what are the engine choices and price?

+1 change the chrome to gloss black and I'd have one. I love the yellow though.

You should see the chrome on the current Edge! Even the alloys are Chrome...

I do like the rear of the all-new Edge, and the interesting LED rear lights stretching right across to the Ford badge. I agree about the front though, I don't think it's very interesting for European's or American's.

Talking of American styling I quite like their latest Explorer:

Hi from Cardiff.

I've had my Edge Titanium for 5 weeks now. Not seen another yet! I really wanted the Sport model but it would have been way over my budget with the options my Titanium came with. I had a good deal, the car had 20 miles on the clock and had a lot of options fitted (showroom car)

Black paintwork, 20" wheels, pan roof, Sony sound system, Lux Pack, adaptive headlights, power tail gate, and the auto powershift transmission

No real complaints apart from wanting a bigger PETROL engine, ( as the yanks have)  and as mentioned in the review, you can hear the fuel sloshing about in the tank! Annoying

My previous car was a 650 BMW (hence wanting a bigger engine!)

I will post some pics soon
