Hi guys

I have a mk6 fiesta st500 and im wanting to play music thru my aux, it works but only comes out of passenger side and really quiet.

I brought a new aux connection port from ford thinking it will work but it does the same thing as the one i have in. Iv also cut the cable tie it was tied down to thinkin it was too tight but still not working how it should. Can some one help me please :)

Cheers

Did you try another device and/or lead? Does your device and lead work correctly with another radio (or portable speaker). This could also be a dodgy connection (jack not fully connected) on the device (Ipod ...) side.

I fitted a brand new aux port to my mk6 fiesta st as It didn't even have one a few months back and I had the exact same problem, I put it down to the aux connector like you have and I got a free replacement from ford.

The guy I spoke to said it's a common fault with the ports. So if I was you I would get in contact with them and as for a replacement matey
