Removing Excess Water After Washing

Hi all. Just thought I would see what others opinion was. I bought a karcher window vac for as it says on the tin my house windows. Then when reading the particulars it said you can use it on your car or any other shiny surface. So today when giving Roary a wash and brush up I thought you know what I'm going to try my window vac on the windows and body instead of a chamois cloth. I was a little dubious at first but then I used it on the windows first and you know what they came up good. So I did the rest of the body work and I am amazed it worked really well. Had to angle it on some of the groves but a lot less work than using a chamois cloth. If you have used a window vac on your car please I would love to hear your thoughts :) happy cleaning.

Sounds like a good result, is it cordless or corded?

It's cordless and you get about 45 mins of sucking from a charge

just seen the vac is £60 on Halfords website, plus the 15% discount premium members get, could be a bargain!

I have one of these and I think they're fab! Wouldn't go near my paintwork with it though, think of the swirls / scratches it would inflict. If your car is clean and waxed, then an open hose will sheet the water off the car, only leaving you a few dreggs to wipe off with a microfibre :)
