Also means they can drive you back from the pub when you decide to have a beer haha. jeebowhite Posted August 13, 2014 Share Posted August 13, 2014 I must admit, on the conversation of the goop in a can... I recently got offered a buckled wheel from a guy at work. I put a part worn tyre on it and chucked it in the boot. Aside the fact that I need to raise the floor level (wood and saw at the ready!) I much prefer the idea of driving on a buckled full size alloy than a mile on a spacesaver! I had it on and clocked up about 70 miles last week, I didnt like the vibration (they couldnt balance it in the slightest!) but at least I could hit 70 or above if I wanted to! rather than sitting at 50 on the motorway laying brown bricks on the seat if a truck goes for an overtake, or wondering when its going to pop! On the front of insurance, its probably the fact that your near the countryside, that power in a car, wet country roads, young driver - all make for a more likely trip down memory lane, past "oh shizzle" farm, and heading straight for "oh fark bark" tree.
