Guest
A lovely example. image.jpg I feel sorry for the poor Focus opposite. It probably had to stare at that monstrosity for hours.
chrisroberson99
Isn't it a Mondeo? Looks like the car just out of shot on the right looks like a MK1 Focus though.
Guest
Isn't it a Mondeo? Looks like the car just out of shot on the right looks like a MK1 Focus though. I thought it was a Focus estate, either way it's a Ford and I feel sorry for it. I bet if the Vauxhall could talk, it would be saying, "kill me, please just put me out of my misery." Mind you, all Vauxhalls would probably say that when they roll off the production line.

Guest
Probably why they constantly go all Kamikaze.. That is probably why Novas always end up upside down. It's the car trying to get itself sent to the crusher.

jeebowhite
Shed of the year award goes to... image.jpg You redeemed your self, however I must say why the heck does one of those monstrosities need a spoiler? I presume they think the extra weight on the tail will stop it rolling over to its faecal position, when in fact it's more likely to make it wheely to the position... SeanW
Not a vauxhall but found this piece of crap parked infront of me today: Chav bodykit, ridicously lowered and stupid bumper stickers: Pity...I quite like the Mk2 Punto :(My old one is still around...with chavvy alloys, disco light headunit and shockingly bad paintwork (it was only really bad when I sold it lol)
Marks12
Pity...I quite like the Mk2 Punto :( My old one is still around...with chavvy alloys, disco light headunit and shockingly bad paintwork (it was only really bad when I sold it lol) how many times did you have to fix your old punto ? every day ? i hate fiat as well as opel or vauxhall you know i used to like vauxhall then i joined this forum and then noticed how they always drove by idiots or how there always broken down. also noticed something in my new estate where i now live one of the neighbors the husband drives an vauxhall corsa and the wife drives a ford focus so i guess i know who wears the pants in that marriage. I really feel sorry for the ford though having to sit beside the vauxhall all night
SeanW
It worked perfectly...sometimes :p 2 thermostats, A few wishbones (integrated balljoint - one new was faulty) FNS hub carrier Waterpump (timing belt done as a precaution) Pair of front springs (one snapped, potholes) Pair of front brake lines (error on young mechanics part) 2 confirmed headgaskets, one with replacement head, crank sensor and water pump Gearbox whining more than my sister Windscreen (not sure, but I think it was thermal shock) Rocker gasket leaked Couple of new sills Both front seats had snapped frames Rear NS wheel replaced (slid on black ice, not the cars fault) Various electrical gremlins (headlights randomly failed, horn occasionally sounded like a goose being molested etc) Pretty sure the heater matrix had a slight leak allowing air in Headgasket had gone for the third time, but I didn't get that done Almost certain the sump was porus too I had that little motor 3 years lol It was great fun hooning around in it, it was typical Italian - all noise, and show for not much go but still entertaining. The Focus is much more refined, a much more technical drive that leaves you satisfied after a good drive....rather than the Punto which was occasionally scary lol
