chrisroberson99
More like poor me at the moment! Being stuck with a Vauxhall/Chevrolet! So much for a Mustang. :(
Ianb
Lol, I never even considered that theives could take parts off the car in that way, but they don't even need the keys and can steal some very valuable stuff. I wonder if they could even steal the engine, probably not without setting the alarm off but it would be interesting to see just how far they can go without the keys. The thing is, if they disconnect the battery, the alarm wouldn't even make a peep!
jeebowhite
I know if you disconnect the battery on newer ford's without the car being unlocked and immobiliser disabled, then disconnect the battery, the backup kicks in and won't shut up lol
chrisroberson99
More like my poor Aunt & Uncle, their !Removed! Omega keeps breaking down (about 4 times this week) and they were on their way to my mums for a relax as they're having a very hard time at the moment. (Long story) Anyway they were forced to use it as their other car a Peugeot 406 Coupe is being assessed by insurers. (Another long story) But in typical Vauxhall manner it had to scupper their plans and make life more difficult... Off to the scrapyard with luck!
Ianb
Unfortunately no picture, but I saw this young lad at the petrol station the other day, surprisingly he looked quite normal (not your usual boy racer looking !Removed!)... He walks up to his corsa which was a state: Big fat exhaust Stickers on the rear (which is personal preference, nothing wrong particularly) Bucket seats in the front Alloy lookalike hub caps And to top it all off, he'd made it less safe by removing the steering wheel with the airbag and replaced it with a 'sports steering wheel'...
chrisroberson99
That reminds me of the Corsa that was parked outside my aunts house... My uncle said "the wheels are probably worth more than the car!" I'm sure he was a right there! The yobbo driving it (after all, it is East Molesey) was screeching his tyres and driving it like an idiot, and the best bit was that it said CDTI on the back! (That's the 406 in the background)

Ianb
Hahaha, well at least he has made some effort to justify why he is a knob, I just couldn't figure out the petrol station guy... Fake alloy hubcaps and a car that looks so piece meal it makes scrap heap challenge cars look OEM..

SeanW
Obviously someone who wanted ST Wheels but couldn't afford them. It's a bit like a bloke wearing budgie smugglers. Just because you can make them fit doesn't mean you should+!
Lenny
Vauxhall astra Snow flake rims on a ford focus ohh controversial indeed That's blasphemous!+1 There's not even a kerb mark on them, I mean what is this driver trying to say; If its a case of "i hate vauxhall so much I'm gonna roll there rims down to.my brake discs start sparking the road" Then id salute and say top respect. But it seems as though there saying "vauxhall are so premium I'm rolling there rims" Like a slammed Polo rolls Porsche rims, But they even went and fitted Ford centre caps rite in the middle of the Vauxhall astra rims. SeanW
I googled it...and it gets worse...in order to do that you need wobbly bolts & spacers, so it isn't even a simple swapsie job!! (I did also discover Freelander 2 wheels apparently fit the Focus Mk2 lol)
