Ianb
If you're 40 years old still living in your bedroom with batman duvet then you're gonna love this; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/361421739920 I love how the passenger side seems to have less stickers than the driver side... I like batman but not bad enough to do that..

alexp999
Yeah I reckon some people are putting off car purchases until more is known about the emissions rigging.

jmurray01
Yeah I reckon some people are putting off car purchases until more is known about the emissions rigging. Wouldn't be a bad thing if some people "wised up" and realised that spending over £10,000 on a car is not worth it. Mind you, in order for us sane people to make our used car bargains some people have to buy them new to begin with, so I shouldn't be TOO happy about the situation!
Phil 87
^ I think you might have a point there Jamie. I love my ST but when I look at how much it's costing me each month and how long is left on the loan I wonder if it's worth that amount of money. But to stay on topic, it's worth spending this much just to not be driving a Vauxhall :P

Ianb
Someone has to buy new cars or else where would second hand ones come from? ... Kind of like, if a tree falls in the woods and there is no one around to hear it, does it make a sound??

Stoney871
My ST is the first brand new car I've ever bought and it's all the more special for it.

Same here, I like knowing that the car is all mine. The problem is that now I've owned a new car I won't want to go back to 2nd hand again.
MONDEO TXS 2.2
The only real downside of buying new is depreciation - sometimes & with the right car a nearly new one is fine + you save a fortune compared to new My Focus ST was brand new & the Mondeo TXS was 6 months old & was as good as new bar 5,000 miles on the clock I saved over 12k when I bought the Mondeo versus new - a no brainer ! :)
