Air Hostess
hiim interested in getting some privacy glass for the rear windows on my 2009 3dr zetec (white) , does anyone know where i can get it ? is it cheap and also are they stick on's that ford use? thanks privacy glass is black glass, not sticky film. ford dont use film. to replace your rear window with real privacy glass will cost you the best part of £250-£300 at a guess, you can get the tinting film done for around £125 i think thats for the rear screen and the two rear windows from specialist firms, but dont go any darker than factory spec or you might get a ticket as the law states it must let in a certain percentage of light. MichellefromEssex
There is no law for the rear glass, I had mine tinted recently cost me £60 but I did know the guy who did it, its normally £25 per panel, took just under an hour and looks fantastic - I went for 65% but when parked against Robs ford glass tinted ones its a bit lighter than his. I dont think you can tell at all that its film the finish is just as good, with the option of removal when selling in the future. I used a company called Shades, whom are based in Essex.
