chrismclauch
So my radio has been goosed for a while . Because my battery was dead and of course the radio requested the radio key I had a look in my audio guide and I seen a number 4 digit on top of that the serial number was their also but it did not work I Flicked though a few pages and one of the pages with the card was in their to and randomly their was also another 4 digit code it did not work. The second page was older and not binded into the audio booklet anyway my serial number is m000255 it says the radio key is 5540 but it's not working I bought the radio keys and I cant get the radio out to see if theirs another code on the top of the radio. So what can I do??
Stoney871
With the radio off press and hold 6 and press and hold 2. That will give you your serial. You'll need to take that serial to Ford or search eBay as the forum does not permit code sharing. I can confirm that the code you posted for that serial is correct though, either the radio has been recoded or the serial and code do not go with your radio. It is quite common for car dealers to throw random handbooks in with cars rather than try to give you the correct one. gregers
you can use the internet to find free unlocking codes/software/programs for the older ford units. or you can FLUTTY you eye lids at your local fords and if there in a helpful mood may give you the code free?if not then expect to be charged around 25 quid from them to unlock it.
