I've not long bought a 12 plate fiesta metal, was just thinking of making it stand out from all the others, what mods do you all suggest?

Thanks this has all really helped, i am not too keen on the boot panel being sprayed, i am definitely getting my interior bits wrapped! Instead of having all them bulbs could i not just buy new pairs of lights that have them in? With the exhaust, will it make it louder and sound more meaty?

i ment wrapping the boot section but tis your motor,

Regarding the exhaust off the shelf units designed specific for your engine will sound best in providing grunt try pumaspeed or mountune websites for a direct fit off the shelf kit,

If you get the name of a system off one of those websites,

Log on to Youtube to see what it sounds like as others whom fit will have upload videos.

Regarding the lights,

The units you currently have are 100% changing the unit wont give better bulbs but the list i have given there are the best on the market, if i was to buy only one from the list id choose the CreeQ5 reverse bulb from alltronix.co.uk excellent bulb,

Beware of Chinese replicas selling on eBay.co.uk they may be cheaper but the dont work when fitted.

Wrapping looks good too,

No prob mate happy to assist.

Any specific exhaust will increase noise, if you still want more after changing the catback

suppose a straight swap decat will give you maximum noise aswell as backfire

Keep your cat for MOT purposes though.

Upgrading the induction filter will also increase exhaust noise because the inlet mass will be greater increasing the outward flow aswell,

Overall go for a catback and if it_ not loud enough fit a decat pipe and purchase ear plugs

Think a decat pipe it will be then!:)

there are many companies providing offvthe shel decats for crazy money,

All it consists of is two flanges and a 2.5" internal diameter pipe.

If you google your local area and locate a custom exhaust specialist or repair garage,

They will make you up a decat pipe for more than half the cost of brand named off the shelf with the same perfect performance results,

They would also make an exhaust but im more in favour of purchasing an off the shelf exhaust because it has been tuned specially for that particular engine not a universal back box.
