Dont we all. I just had my timing belt done yesterday just out of fear, not necessity lol £170 down the tubes. After the springs itll be Cree bulbs for rear and possibly some darker tint on the windows as i carry lots if musical gear ie guitars/amps. The factory tint just isnt dark enough. Possible tinted sunstrip too like i had on my mk7 fiesta.

+1 for the sunstrip idea. I been meaning to look into that as when driving, sometimes even with sunglasses the glare is unbearable. It would be nice to get a faded black sunstrip for my car. Lenny, any places in Ireland that would sell and install it?

Glad you guys looking forward to it as much as I am. I think my car from the outside is totally stock so far and missing a few wheel nut covers that were stolen along with my wind deflectors a while back. Reckon mine will be the least impressive on the outside, lol. My funds have been sunk into the sound system mainly. I will have to bring the tablet with pictures as inside the car at present, the only indication of any work is the Pioneer double din. In the boot, it's the sub enclosure, subwoofer and 2 amps :)

Btw, are we all driving a Focus that day? In a few different colours! Love it :D

So guys, tomorrow I will call Airside Ford and the time we are meeting up on Saturday 6th September is 12:30pm. Just in case you haven't put it down in your diary yet :P Once I speak to them, I will let you know what they say. Fingers crossed they are happy to host us in the car park :)

Atint.ie may cover your area aswell mate,

Any window tinting company will do a sunstrip for you,

Just as long as it doesn't come down any lower than the sun visor on the windscreen the nct crew wont argue

It's abit different up north for sun strips, they can't impede the area that your window wipers cover and can come of further than 9 inches down the screen :)

So if you want a big one just do what my friends have done and put tiny Wiper Blades on hahah :P

Nice. The Mondeo ST is a wolf in sheeps clothing. I wonder if there was an estate version?

Speaking of which saw not 1 but 2 Focus RS in Stillorgan today. White and blue. Lovely noise from them :)

My mistake mate i said M sports i ment to say MS-Design,

They are an aftermarket body styling company there kit is generally rare to find because they charge extortionate prices for each part of it,

Heres there website: http://www.ms-design.com/en/products.html

Im guessing he bought the focus with the MS-Design kit already fitted, and he doesn't realize how valuable it is because heres the day he backed it in to the wall

poor rear bumper,

Must have been late for work that day or something because its been left abandoned

:o

still burried in the wall damn magnified rear view mirror lol

Image1096.jpg

Theres two RS down here too,

One white belongs to a driving instructor lol not the car he uses for lessons though sadly

and one green belongs to the Sargent in Garda station,

I had a look around the website, not really my thing but to each their own. Prices are a bit OTT for what you get. Poor car being backed into the wall. Maybe leave a note for him to say how nice his car looks with that very expensive bodykit :P

Funny about the RS belonging to a driving instructor. With the road tax for that car being near €2k on top of the price of the car, that job must be good money :P

I was actually in Wicklow today. Lovely driving roads, sunny day and with the new sound system in the car, it was a bit of an experience. I think I must have driven for more than 2 hours. Was at Brittas bay beach with the family and never been there. Nice spot.
