Just been on another fiesta forum ( not been on it before ) and it showed a pic of the 2015 fiesta, the rear lights are shaped like the focus and it said trim levels are revised to s, se titanium and st , it wasn't translated to English very well so dont know how legit it was

I can't see 2015 being the release for a new Fiesta model, seeing it's only just been Facelifted.

Beware journalists and their photoshop! Autoexpress for example are well known for their "this is what it could look like" articles.

Ford will have any designs kept well secret for now.

Is it just me, or does that kinda defeat the point of the ka being the small city car... It's big!

That KA looks awful, I really hope the facelift Fiesta doesn't look close to that hideous thing!

WHAT ???? No more 3 door Fiesta ?? I won't know what to do with myself ! I have had 10 (or is it 11) Fiesta's since passing my test in 1982, and they have all been 3 door. I don't want a car with more than 3 doors. I still laugh yet ... a couple of years ago, when I had my niece in the car, we were getting out and she said to me "Auntie Jackie, these are the biggest doors i've EVER seen" !!! Think she struggled to push it open when she was getting out. bad Auntie !!!!! LOL

P.S .... that KA is ugly.

The links in the original post have come from an Indian website... India, South America, South Africa, Russia etc get cheap cars that aren't available here, generally would be a previous generation car in terms of powertrain and chassis, with a general rummage in the parts bin for styling. In this case it wouldn't surprise me if this is sold as a Fiesta in those markets with Ford keeping the Fiesta we all know and love separate.

Think of it like the Ecosport, that was only really for the South American market until Ford realised they needed a player in the Juke/Captur/Mokka market.

That article is from 2012, also. Reading the article it says the car won't be able to compete by then but since the Fiesta is Britain's best selling car... I think it might be a load of BS...

Definitely a load of nonsense, its like the auto express article on the fiesta rs. Truth is nobody in the public domain knows. Some dealers are saying 2016 is the projected year for the mk8 however some say they dont know. Have to wait and see.

Heard that the new 1.0 litre 138Bp Fiesta is now available, as well as the limited Fiesta black, and Fiesta Red models. I can't see them changing the Fiesta as soon as, next year!!!!! The mark 7.5 hasn't evolved enough, it was 5 years until the 7.5 was released!

Aren't the Red and Black editions the only Fiestas that come with the 140PS engine? And I agree the MK7.5 hasn't been around long enough to be replaced. When something is as successful as the current Fiesta, don't companies usually try to make it last as long as possible before replacing it? I hope they take their time, our STs will be worth more when we come to sell them, especially if it takes them 5 years to release the MK8 ST as was the case with the MK7 :)
