Found this over on stoc, Leather cover for the armrest.

I think it looks quite good and adds a bit of class to the interior, what do you guys think?

You can get it for the smoke interior and the orange interior to match

I might get one, anyone interested in a group buy?

I'd happily get involved if we can knock the price down.

I take it that it's literally a cover?

Yeah, I think you remove the lid and slide the cover over , also I'm not sure if you would get charged import duty for it? Otherwise it looks to be £30 ish

Also got a discount code till the end of 2014

9B8V9M6C9T3 gives you 10% off

If you have the smoke grey interior , you need to order black nappa with sliver stitching to match.

If you have orange interior you need black nappa and RED stitching, not orange, as the orange stitching doesnt match.

I'm interested if it's something that just slips on i.e. can be removed without leaving a horrible mark. That arm rest is the only bit of cheap trim that bothers me, it's actually less comfortable than not resting your arm on it lol.

The maximum order qty i could enter was 9, which gave the max discount of 30%. So 9 covers at $441. Discounted to $308.70. divided by 9 = $34.30 or £20.29 approx on current ex rates.

Then the trim & stitching options bumped the price back up to $401, so watch that! Finally the P+P charges for the bulk buy.. which i couldn't get to show up without proceeding. But around £28 for 1 on its own plus shipping, if marked as a gift would not incur import taxes possibly!

I much prefer the photos on the site then the one attached which looked a bit, naff!

Interested though :)

You don't attract import taxes from the US anymore if the package weighs less than 5kgs iirc.

I have one of these but not got the car yet, black nappa leather with silver stitching. Quality is good.

If you sign up to them on face book (redlinegoods) they put up discount codes, there was one for 20% but it finished on Friday but , they do them quite often.

There is no import tax as they come from Poland not the US.

There is 10% off at the moment using code RLGAPPROVED theory are also doing free shipping.

Fitted mine the other day, quite pleased with it. Black nappa leather with silver stitching, quite a good match imo

Looks good, Ford really should have covered it with leather anyway, but they have to find so many ways to save money and I guess that was one of the many.

So how much did it end up costing you in pounds?

Hardest bit is getting the edges folded over and glued neatly

I took the lid off, laid it on the cover and when happy with the position (even amount of material all the way around) used chalk to mark it's position. Sprayed glue on a the armrest and placed it on the cover., used small spring clamps to hold it in place.Left that to dry for about 30mins then, glued and folded the larger sides down then the ends, try folding the side without glue first so you can get it as flat as possible. The latch on mine is now a bit tighter to release so might have to adjust the fold on the front edge.

Use the fitting guide on their site to see what it should look like after gluing the cover on.

Ok cool, might be something to add to the other things that I want to do, like replacing the Speakers.
