Mk6 Fiesta Water In Door

Hi All

Random question for someone I know. Their drivers door is full of water can hear it sloshing around.

Any advice on draining it out (not removing it and tipping it upside down) and how to prevent it from happening again?

I know someone who has a Mk6 and when they park on a slight slope in the rain it all collects inside but drains when they open the door. Under the door should be drain holes usually covered by a flap (unless they are now just holes) so check they are not blocked.

I had this problem with my mk6 before selling, there are a few holes on the underside of the door which get bunged up with muck and other crap, if he gets a cotton bud or something of a similar size and just remove the gunk it should drain back out

Lol cheers I reckon 5 litres just came out of it, covered 2 parking spaces. Had to call the coast guard after I got washed away when I unblocked the hole.
