1.8 Diesel problem, still!!

I am still having a problem with air getting into the fuel line. I have replaced the fuel filter housing but you can still see air bubles in the fuel line from the filter to the pump, the engine then runs rough. There doesn't seem to be any damage on the other fuel lines. Has anyone had problems with the Ford quick release connectors on the fuel lines please, or any other ideas please. Thanks. Steve
