Also what about changing colour of brake calipers ? Also I'm planning on lowering my car using same kit as Ford would this void mines? Lowering probably will, but only void the warranty on the suspension components I think? As long as your insurance company knows I can't see there being an issue IMO. Paramanic Posted August 20, 2014 Author Share Posted August 20, 2014 a didnt think it would to be honest but was weary of the suspension .... ford themselves use Eibach to lower zetec s and you can buy this from ford for £167 (i can get it for £125 fordparksuk) would it be void if i got same part and had fitted by ford or is that a long shot? alexp999 Posted August 20, 2014 Share Posted August 20, 2014 As long as they are fitted properly it shouldn't matter who fits them, although if there is ever a problem down the line and it is found they were not fitted correctly that could affect the warranty if it was not done by a ford dealer. MattDRX Posted August 20, 2014 Share Posted August 20, 2014 It would void the anti corrosion warranty on the wheels, mine has a little scab on one at the moment and ford are going to have it back soon when I get a moment, only in the first year though, after that your rims won't be covered.
