Anyone changed there headunit and retained the cars menu?

Looking at getting shot of my sync / radio for an aftermarket affair and looking for anyone that has done this. Thanks.

I'd imagine you need something like this to retain access to the menus:

But I'm struggling to find somewhere in the UK/Europe that does it.

Nearly all the DIN kits seem to get rid of the controls completely, which is pretty pointless.
