ive just changed the chrome headlight for the black bezel one i bought on ebay.i noticed on the chrome bezel one that two wires seem to have been cut any ideas why this would be

ment to say ive got a pair off headlights with chrome bezel for sale

If i remember correctly there was an advisory on the headlights where the elecs kept overloading n blowing the bulbs. Ford recommendation was to install resistor wiring into the holder to resolve the issue. That might be what thats for.
