Ianb
Hey guys, this is actually not car related, it is business/building related. I'm after an insurance quote and received one from one company that told me if I get any others then to contact them back. I JUST received anther quotation from another company. I was wondering am I allowed to send the details of the second quote onto the first company so that they can look over it and try and beat/match/improve their quote? If anyone knows that would be great! EDIT: Sorry, I'm not just talking about a figure either, I'm talking about the full details as to what they are insuring for what amount and then their final quote... all in a pdf..sent directly from them to me....which I'll then send to someone else
SandyCat
Nothing stopping you at all. It's normal to compare quotes and cover details. Insurers themselves know what the competition is up to anyway so it won't be anything they have not seen before.
jeebowhite
thats perfectly acceptable, as there is nothing to stop you doing it and its not in the terms of service.
MattDRX
Data protection applies to consumers, Businesses need to address confidentiality in the material itself, which I haven't seen before on a quote.
