2nd ford E+ B
Hi guys, I've got a 7.5 fez titanium x. The front 12v accessory sockets not working but the one in back of the centre console for the back seat passengers is. If they were both not not working then I'd check the fuses. Just wondered if they would be on separate fuses ?. And also where are the fuses and which one should I be looking for ?. Paramanic
Personally a think they would be on sperate fuses (more logical ) but don't quote me on this and a think fuses are behind the glove box open ur passenger door open ur glove box squeeze the box to get it out and it will flop down and you will see fuses am sure manual has the fuse key (to know what one does what)
Willy
The front socket only works with the ignition on, have you done that? The rear is always live whereas the front is only on with the ignition ;)
2nd ford E+ B
Yep tried that. Just checked in the manual its fuse No 30. But doesn't show a fuse for a second 12v accessory . But can't check in car as my misses has taken taken it to work. And she's not back till next Friday. So there is one plus to this story :) Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app
Stoney871
All power sockets are covered by the same fuse in the footwell board. It is possible that your socket is unplugged or damaged inside, the contacts can corrode or bend when an oversized item is pushed in. May be worth pulling the fuse and then bending the contacts inside the socket a bit.
Paramanic
Didn't know that Willy a thought it's the same as the s max Mondeo etc where the sockets are live for 15- 30mins after engine has been off
